In early 2022 ORIMA Research will be conducting a comprehensive consultation process with representatives of vocational education and training providers, including trainers and assessors, on behalf of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to inform the development of the self-assurance model for the sector.

Those who are interested are encouraged to register to take part in this consultation.

This consultation process is a vital first stage in the co-design of a self-assurance model for the sector. It represents a unique opportunity for providers, trainers and assessors and other VET stakeholders to help shape the way that self-assurance will work in the sector going forward and will ensure that the model is informed by the real-world experiences and insights. We are seeking input from a broad cross-section of stakeholders, as it is important that the needs and circumstances of the whole sector are considered in the design of the model.

To register your interest, please complete the registration form below. Those who complete this form may be contacted by ORIMA Research over the next few months to take part in the consultations, which are planned to occur in two stages:

• Stage 1: late January to late February 2022
• Stage 2: late April to early May 2022

Those who are unable to take part in these consultations, or who are not contacted, may have a further opportunity to provide input through a survey of all registered providers in May 2022.
